SURGICAL RADIOLOGY COURSE FRIDAY 16TH OF FEBRUARY 2018, NORWICH

This is a one day intensive radiology course held in conjunction with the Radiology Academy for core trainees, foundation doctors and junior registrars. The course will consist of a series of lectures, paired with small group image interpretation sessions, allowing trainees to consolidate their knowledge and ask questions.

Principles of Emergency Medicine

This course covers some of the most common medical and surgical presentations encountered in A&E, focusing on the practical steps in management as well as the basic principles to provide a deeper understanding of the condition.

Build your own Laporoscopic Trainer Workshop

This one day course will provide attendees with all the materials, tools and expertise required to build their own laparoscopic trainer which they will then be able to take home at the end of the day to continue their practice.

 

General Surgery Foundation Course

The course aims to improve theoretical knowledge to allow junior doctors to more confidently and appropriately manage pre and postop surgical patients which can be a very daunting task, particularly on the many occasions they find their registrar and consultant in theatre.

Core Laparoscopic Skills Course

This course will give trainees to practice the entirety of several key procedures on realistic animal tissue models while receiving feedback and instruction from consultants in a more relaxed environment  than theatre.
